And it seems like its not making any progress when I'm away from the device - do the downloads stop when iPad screen turns off and the timed lock-out function employs? I tried restarting my iPad and the Amazon download speed is still very, very slow. When I have the app running in front of me, I can see very slow progress as it tries to download several episodes simultaneously. However, the downloads made almost no progress overnight. I ended up changing to "GOOD" download quality and selected several movies and an entire season of "Justified," thinking they would all be complete when I woke up. but the speed seemed to actually get SLOWER. Last night before bed I started downloading a few episodes of an Amazon series and part way through I realized I was using the "Best" quality setting, so I switched it to "Better". My iPad will download a movie or TV episode from Netflix very quickly (I can watch the bar move across the page as the download completes in a minute or two) but from Amazon, the titles take FOREVER. We're leaving on a family vacation involving a long plane flight, so I've been downloading Netflix and Amazon shows to my iPad and my kids' Kindle Fire tablets.
